Job Description

A proven understanding of Cisco network and voice technologies will be essential, backed up by extensive experience supporting these technologies in an enterprise environment.
A highly analytical approach with a passion for customer service, the ability to take ownership and the ability to work as part of a team will be equally important.

Education:
Post-secondary education in computer science, computer programming or network administration
CCNA-Voice / CCNP-Voice

SKILLS
CISCO Voice experience including:
Cisco Unified Communications
Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
Cisco Unity Connection
Cisco Gateways
Cisco Contact Center Express
Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers
Thorough understanding and experience with the PBX signaling technologies including the following protocols:
Voice over IP (VoIP)
H323
Session Initiated Protocol (SIP)
Media Gateway Protocol (MGCP)
Experience with both desktop and advanced multipoint video conferencing solutions
Working knowledge of Ethernet technologies and QoS
Experience in providing strategic advice and promoting network projects to senior executives, project leaders and staff
Previous experience participating in client implementations
Experience providing Pre and Post-sales support to clients and sales teams in resolving any technical issues, as well as communicating recommendations for current and future voice requirements

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a vehicle and be willing to drive as needed
• Evening and occasional weekend work will be required
